Hints - Fender Flare Replacement

When I redid the first Jeep, fender flare replacement was not necessary due to the fact that the factory ones were in really good shape. However, on the second project Jeep, they were broken and sagging, so new ones were ordered.

The PO (previous owner) had put on the old fender flares with a combination of rivets and screws. Getting them off was a lot of fun; however, once off, I got an email asking where you could get the original fender flare mounting hardware. I did a quick search and found that Quadratec had a set that is made by Crown (part# 22510 7109K) that fit the bill perfectly. The Fender Flare Mounting Hardware is seen in the right hand picture and is a relatively cheap option at $16.95 for proper mounting of the new fender flares that will last for a lifetime since they are made of plastic.
