CertifiableJeep - Certifiable Trailer - 08.05.12

 1  2  3

(08/05/12) I am still grappling with getting the trailer registered as there was some confusion with the title and where it was located, but all in all, things are progressing nicely. After a ton of videos and "how-to" reading on strapping down a vehicle to a trailer, I decided to give it a go. It was a HOT day. I went through 2 shirts on Saturday going through the brakes, greasing it, getting the proper hitch, etc., and then 2 more shirts on Sunday when I loaded it and started to play more with it.

I was able to load it up without an issue and even strap it down without too much to report. All in all, the advice I was give I used and it seemed to all work out. I even put the chocks in place and marked where I would put them in the future on the bed of the trailer. I had it ALL figured out and then I went for a ride. A SCARY ride!
